The challenge: reliable calibration directly at the charging station
CMI needed precise, traceable calibration of AC and DC charging stations under real-world conditions to support accurate energy measurement, transparent billing and regulatory compliance.
In addition to measurement performance, the institute required a practical field setup that could be used efficiently by its experts during on-site verification.
The solution: Calimera integrated into CMI’s own service vehicle
CMI selected comemso for its measurement capabilities, support, vehicle integration and training.
The cooperation was carried out in several steps. In December 2025, the comemso team visited CMI in Prague to demonstrate the Calimera system using the comemso demo vehicle. The presentation gave additional CMI colleagues and international partners the opportunity to experience the system in operation.
CMI provided its service vehicle for integration tailored to its operational needs. In February 2026, the institute collected the equipped vehicle at comemso, completed system training and returned to Prague the same day.

On-site verification supports accurate energy measurement and confidence that customers are billed for the energy received.
The solution also supports CMI in addressing the growing demand for reliable calibration services as e-mobility infrastructure continues to develop across Europe.
