… and we do almost everything to achieve this goal: our latest effort is to install a solar energy plant on the rooftop of our company building with a final expansion stage of 85 kW peak power. The energy gained powers our company building and the portion of energy we cannot produce ourselves we buy additional green electricity for (water power). Additionally we already transformed the most part of our fleet to EVs. And last but not least, since 2011 we have voluntarily committed ourselves to implementing the environmental standards according to ISO 14001, which is the worldwide accepted and applied standard for environmental management systems. The solar power plant has been planned in-house and implemented with external partners: beginning of 2022 we started the installation on the rooftop of our company building. At the moment the power installed amounts to 45 kW, which will be extended step by step throughout the year until we reach the final expansion stage of 85 kW peak power. A large part of the energy our company consumes will then be supplied by the sun, which we are very proud of. Self-made solar power is our first choice – yet if we cannot generate enough to power our company building we rely on water power as a substitute, and of course we only use 100% certified renewable energy.
Our fleet consists of 20 cars, 18 of them are EVs. Sure, we use them for testing and optimizing our products, but they are also our favourites for driving.
