System of the Month July 2026: Automated AC EVSE End-of-Line Testing
An AC End-of-Line test system combines charging communication, a real electrical load, energy measurement and documented test sequences before the EVSE leaves production.

The configuration
- Automated AC End-of-Line sequences with test reports
- EVCA with a bidirectional AC electronic load
- AC charging communication including ISO 15118-20
- EVCA Calibration with Report and integrated reference measurement
Run a defined production test sequence
At the end of the production line, the manufacturer needs documented results to decide whether an EVSE is ready to leave the factory. This system runs automated AC End-of-Line test sequences and records the results in comprehensive test reports.
Charging communication, electrical loading, functional tests and energy measurement become part of a defined, repeatable EOL process. Operators can work with the results of the configured sequence in one test environment.
Test communication together with an actual electrical load
The setup supports modern AC charging communication, including ISO 15118-20. It combines EVCA technology with a bidirectional AC electronic load, allowing the charging station to perform an actual charging process under controlled and reproducible load conditions.
The configured End-of-Line process therefore goes beyond communication and basic electrical checks. It tests the EVSE as a complete system while charging into the controlled load.
Compare the EVSE energy measurement with the reference
EVCA Calibration with Report adds comemso Calimera functionality to the same setup. During a controlled charging process, the EVSE’s energy measurement can be checked against the integrated reference measurement.
The results are documented in a calibration report. The measurement equipment itself is calibrated by comemso in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.
Bring the production results into one documented workflow
For this project, charging communication, a real electrical load, functional End-of-Line testing, energy measurement and reporting are combined in one automated environment. The manufacturer can assess the documented results of the specified tests as part of its production release process.
