comemso integrates proven ISO 15118 test libraries into comframe

The comemso ISO 15118-4 and ISO 15118-5 test libraries are available in comframe for AC and DC EVSE communication tests. They build on the earlier in-house implementation validated by CharIN.

Results compared across both software platforms

comemso developed the earlier test libraries entirely in-house for a different software platform. To check the transfer to comframe, the team repeated test cases on two charging stations using both platforms and compared the results. One station was the same physical unit used for the original CharIN validation.

Verify PASS and FAIL detection

For every test case, comemso used its charging station simulation in comframe to generate correct and deliberately faulty communication sequences. This verified that the test logic detects compliant behaviour as PASS and deviations from requirements as FAIL.

From configuration to test report

comframe controls test systems in the EVCA family. During these charging-station tests, the system takes the vehicle role and checks EVSE communication. PICS and PIXIT describe the supported functions and technical test parameters. You select, execute and evaluate test cases in one environment. A separate report documents each executed test case.

Upgrade existing EVCA systems

You can add comframe and these test libraries to existing EVCA systems. comemso helps you choose the configuration for your test tasks. Additional test libraries are planned. Press release: 10 September 2026.
