Before we founded comemso, we ourselves faced the very same challenges that our customers deal with every day.
As engineers at a major automaker, we developed test systems for driver-assistance systems because there were no suitable solutions on the market. The original plan was to have established test system manufacturers develop these systems. But the response was clear: “Too specialized. Too complex. Nobody else needs this.”
We saw it differently.
After all, if one manufacturer faces this problem, other manufacturers will sooner or later face the same challenge.
This conviction gave rise to comemso — your partner for COMplex EMbedded SOlutions.
Our goal was clear from the start: We don’t develop simple solutions. We develop the solutions that are still missing from the market.
Shortly after we were founded, the financial crisis presented us with our first major challenge. The planned showcase project was canceled at the last minute. Instead of waiting for better times, we developed our own products, worked on new ideas, and actively sought to engage with potential customers.
Instead of waiting to see what would happen, we developed our own products, worked on new ideas, and actively sought dialogue with potential customers.
A year later, the opportunity we had been working toward finally arose: A customer asked us if we could develop a test system for electric mobility. Within a few weeks, we had built a prototype. The customer’s feedback was clear: “This is better than anything we’ve seen on the market so far.” Four months later, we delivered the complete test bench on schedule. The first system operated successfully and without any problems for over eight years and later became part of the customer’s museum.
That experience continues to shape us to this day.
Since then, we haven’t been developing off-the-shelf products. We develop measurement and test systems that open up new possibilities for our customers and continually set new standards in e-mobility testing. That’s exactly why we understand what they need.
