Learn to Configure Tests and Interpret Results
Build practical skills with the test system and application your team uses. Agree the training level, test task and learning goals so participants can practise the relevant workflow.
From functions to confident decisions.

Teach the decisions each role must make
A useful course is not a tour through every menu. It prepares a defined role to complete a defined workflow and recognise when escalation is required.
Operator onboarding
Connect the system, select the released workflow, execute the task and preserve the required result.
Engineering application workshop
Configure the system around the DUT (device under test), explore the relevant technical layers and interpret the captured evidence.
Administrator and integration training
Maintain users, releases, projects, interfaces, data paths and automation boundaries where supported.
Service technician workflow
Apply a guided field sequence from prerequisite checks through diagnosis and documented return to service.
Train-the-trainer
Build an internal training structure that preserves the released workflow while adapting examples to the organisation.
Focused update workshop
Address a new release, standard route, product extension or workflow change without repeating full onboarding.
- Known start and safe state
- Run selection and prerequisites
- Result, report and shutdown
- DUT and counterpart roles
- Signals, protocol, power and timing
- Deviation and root-cause workflow
- Configuration and version control
- Data and report governance

Live training, workshop and e-learning solve different continuity problems
The best programme combines formats instead of forcing one channel to carry every learning objective.
On smaller screens, scroll the table horizontally to see every column.
| Format | Delivery | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| Product onboarding | Live remote or on-site | Initial operation of the delivered configuration and known workflow. |
| Application workshop | Remote or on-site with DUT context | Test strategy, system configuration, evidence and engineering interpretation. |
| Hands-on laboratory workshop | On-site | Practical exercises using the agreed system, DUT or training counterpart. |
| E-learning | Self-paced customer access | Recurring onboarding, product functions, firmware updates, troubleshooting and standards context. |
| Train-the-trainer | Live plus reusable materials | Internal scale while preserving a controlled baseline. |
| Release update | Focused live session or e-learning | Changed functions, compatibility, migration and revised operating rules. |

Training follows the configured system, not the complete portfolio
The agenda is built from the delivered hardware, licensed software, application and user responsibilities.
EVCA
Communication, simulation, analysis, interoperability, MCS, EMC-related workflows and automation according to the configured system.
Easy Chester
Production, commissioning, service, inspection and calibration workflows according to the selected Easy Chester system.
Battery Cell Simulator
Cell, sensor, current, balancing, isolation and fault conditions according to the installed BCS configuration.
comframe
Project structure, configuration, synchronised data, standards-aware analysis, automation, reporting and released interfaces.
Standards context
Relevant terminology, states, expected sequences and edition-specific boundaries without replacing official standards.
Evidence and governance
Run identity, versions, configuration, reports, exports and the organisation's retention and review process.

Move from explanation to controlled practice
Every live workshop should end with observable competence, not only attendance.
Align the role
Define who attends, what they are responsible for and which decisions they must make.
Establish the baseline
Confirm system, software, licences, DUT, interfaces, safety and training environment.
Explain the workflow
Connect product functions to the application, standard context and expected evidence.
Practise with scenarios
Execute prepared tasks, deviations or fault examples that match the agreed scope.
Review the evidence
Inspect results, reports, traces and escalation criteria.
Transfer ownership
Define job aids, internal onboarding, update ownership and the route back to support.

Six inputs prevent a generic agenda
The training request should state the system and the competence required after the session.
Audience and roles
Operators, engineers, administrators, service technicians, trainers or mixed groups.
System baseline
Product, generation, options, software, licences and planned update status.
Application and DUT
EV, EVSE (electric vehicle supply equipment, or charging station), interoperability, MCS, EMC or BMS (battery management system), including relevant test direction.
Learning objectives
Tasks and decisions participants must complete independently after training.
Environment
Remote, on-site, laboratory, field, production, available DUT and safety constraints.
Language and evidence
Training language, materials, exercises and required participation record or handover.

Use live training and self-service resources as one system
The Knowledge Center, Resources Library and E-learning portal support different kinds of repeat learning.
E-learning Portal
Product functions, updates, troubleshooting and standards context according to entitlement.
Knowledge Center
Navigate topics by application, standard, capability and test objective.
Resources Library
Find current brochures, checklists, webinars, videos and configuration sheets.
Application Support
Prepare a reproducible support request when a real result requires assistance.
08 / Contact & Support
Define what the team must be able to do after training.
Build the agenda from roles, configured system, application, practice scenarios and handover.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which products can training cover?
Training follows the delivered test system and participant roles. Easy Chester training covers standalone operation without a laptop. Separate software training covers comframe for its compatible EVCA, Calimera and Battery Cell Simulator configurations.
Is training available remotely and on site?
Both formats can be relevant. The final delivery method depends on the learning objective, equipment, DUT access, safety, location and commercial agreement.
Does training certify personnel?
Not by default. A participation record or internal competence check is different from an accredited personnel certification. Any certification claim must name the issuing body and approved scheme.
Can a workshop use our own DUT and test environment?
Yes, when the environment, confidentiality, safety, interfaces and preparation are agreed. A customer-DUT workshop usually requires more preparation than product onboarding.
What is included in the E-learning portal?
The current public description includes product functions, firmware updates, troubleshooting examples, standards context and onboarding content. Access and the content visible to each user depend on the maintenance package and current entitlement.
Can training cover ISO 15118 or other charging standards?
Training can explain the standard context needed to operate the configured system. It does not replace the official standard, a conformance assessment or legal interpretation. The relevant part, edition, DUT role and product release must be stated.
What does this service include, and what should we agree in advance?
Agree the participants, learning objectives and available test environment. These answers help select the product scope, delivery format and preparation for a practical workshop.
