Why e-mobility testing?
Why do we have to focus on it?
Especially for new technologies testing is absolutely essential.
When my husband (CEO of comemso Dr.-Ing. Kiriakos Athanasas) and I were working for a big car OEM we were developing test systems. Why? Because for the topics we found important there were none available on the market.
Our experience was that there are two vital aspects:
- communication between technologies
- and communication between people.
And regarding both aspects there are still way too many issues! So, we decided to find solutions.
And what does this have to do with e-mobility? A lot. Because there is still much potential for miscommunication regarding the charging interface and in-between different interfaces of ECUs (electronic control units), EV (electric vehicle) and EVSE (electric vehicle supply equipment).
We have to focus on these topics and must help each other in the e-mobility community – no matter which (charging) language we speak or from which country we come. Because we all have the same goals: the growth of e-mobility and a sustainable world for our children. 🌱
